Weidmuller Canada Unveils a New Customer Experience Center Innovative WOW Van

Recently Weidmuller Canada proudly opened its new Customer Experience Center at its headquarters in Markham, Ontario and Kerrwil Media was on site to learn about the new offerings alongside Weidmuller clients and partners. The tour provided a number of hands-on opportunities to test new equipment in the experience centre and int he new WOW van that will be touring Atlantic Canada and providing a similar experience (as in Ontario) to customers in those regions.

This state-of-the-art 600 sq. ft. facility is designed to provide customers and distribution partners with an immersive, hands-on experience of Weidmuller’s latest products and solutions.

Distributor partners and clients had a wide range of compliments when walking though the centre, and stressed the need for centre’s like this to ensure that distributors and users have a good handle on the breadth of products offered and the technical aspects of them. The tour also brought to light some of the new focuses of Weidmuller, such as their advanced tool line that is now available in Canada and is designed specifically for automation specialists.

Kevin Blair, National Sales Manager, expressed his excitement: “We are thrilled to offer this dedicated space. Our sales representatives can now invite customers into our facility to explore the extensive range of our offerings, particularly our Wire Processing Centre and Printers. It has been challenging to convey the true value of these products without demonstrating them in person. Now, it’s much easier.”

Vice President, Jenny Raguimov added, “For customers in remote locations, we introduce the WOW (Weidmuller-On-Wheels) Van. As the name suggests, it brings Weidmuller products directly to our customers. We recognize that many of our clients are stationed at plant sites, and it’s crucial for them to see, touch, and interact with our products firsthand.”

Additionally, Weidmuller features a dedicated training center at this facility that allows existing and new clients to get onsite and test equipment to ensure they understand and are full prepared to implement Weidmuller products into existing and future products.. Over the past five years, this advanced space has been instrumental in training over 50 customers and 200 distribution partners.

Providing the right product knowledge is crucial to business, and Weidmuller is committed to ensuring it’s done the right way.
