Announcement by Carol McGlogan, President & CEO, Electro Federation Canada

I have the bittersweet duty and the pleasure of announcing a significant leadership transition within our organization.

After five years of dedicated service and leadership, Gurvinder Chopra, our esteemed VP of  Standards and Regulations, has made the decision to embark on a new chapter in his career journey. Throughout his tenure, Gurvinder has been an invaluable asset to our team, contributing to our efforts to raise the profile of EFC among key stakeholders and launching our Greener Electrified Canada efforts. Gurvinder is known for his passion and unwavering commitment to excellence.

While we will miss Gurvinder’s presence and leadership, we are thrilled to announce that we have a worthy successor from within our own ranks.  Effective April 22nd, Cherith Sinasac will assume the role of Director of Standards and Regulations. Cherith has been an integral part of our team for eight years, managing our Business Sections, developing industry positions on codes and standards, and collaborating with members and EFC staff to advance industry priorities. Cherith has deep knowledge of our business section members’ issues, and a steadfast dedication to EFC’s mission and values.

We are confident that Cherith will build upon the strong foundation laid by Gurvinder and lead the Business Sections team and EFC’s advocacy efforts to even greater success in the years to come.

Please join me in congratulating Cherith on her new position.  We wish Gurvinder all the best in his new career adventure.
