Canada’s electricity industry is undergoing considerable transformation due to the decentralization and democratization of the electricity grid, new technologies like smart meters and the next-generation power grid, and the overall momentum towards clean energy across the country.

This panel, which hosts three Canadian leaders, addresses the challenges that Canada’s electricity workforce must contend with in order to realize a stronger, more diverse and resilient labour pool that will enable Canada to keep the lights on and create a greener and more innovative electricity sector.
