CSA Group Appoints Gianluca Arcari as Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer

On May 8, 2020, Gianluca Arcari was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer at CSA Group, reporting to David Weinstein, President & CEO. In this role, Gianluca will be responsible for growing CSA’s global Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) organization. Leading a team of more than 200, Gianluca will guide and develop global commercial market sector strategies across CSA Group’s global business units in Home and Commercial, Industrial and Healthcare.

Gianluca brings more than 20 years of CSA Group experience to this role. Previously, as VP, Home & Commercial, CSA’s largest commercial unit, he successfully led a team that grew the Home & Commercial business with both new and existing customers. His exceptional knowledge of the TIC industry has led to targeted investments in lab capabilities and program offerings that helped customers bring their products to the global marketplace.

Gianluca’s career with CSA Group has progressed through a series of roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President, Advisor to the CEO; Executive Director, Standards; Director, Learning Services; Director, Appliance & Gas; and Director, Service Quality.

Gianluca holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University, and an MBA from York University (Schulich School of Business).
