Anixter Joins EFC

Anixter

Anixter, a global supplier of communications and security products and electrical and electronic wire and cable, has joined EFC as a distributor member.

The EFC official representative from Anixter is Nisar Baloch, Director of Product Management.

Established in Canada since 1980, Alan and Bill Anixter started to cut wire to length with the help of a loan from their mother in 1957. The company is now a global supplier of communications and security products and electrical and electronic wire and cable with 8,700 employees.

The company adds value to the distribution process by providing its customers access to

  • 350,000 products
  • 226 warehouses with more than 5.5 million square feet of space
  • locations in over 50  countries.

    Employment declined by 42,000 (-0.2%) in August and the employment rate fell 0.1 percentage points to 60.8%. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.4%.
