E.B. Horsman & Son Announces 3 Promotions, 1 Appointment

Western Canada’s largest independently owned and operated electrical wholesaler has made the following appointments and promotions:

 

Horsemen Stanton• Dave Stanton—Product Manager, Data & Communications. Stanton joined E.B. Horsman in 2000 as an inside technical resource working closely with branch managers and sales representatives to grow the Data & Communications portfolio. As Product Manager, Dave will be responsible for all technical support, project management and product training.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Evan Bamber — Branch Manager, Edmonton. Bamber has spent 23 years in the electrical industry; 15 as an electrician in residential, commercial and industrial settings in Alberta as well as across Western Canada and the U.S. Evan has worked on countless job sites creating many long standing relationships in the communities throughout the province. For the past eight years he has worked in a management role operating a lighting and energy management consulting firm focused on lighting upgrades in commercial buildings in the Edmonton area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Horsemen Knight

 

• Derek Knight — Divisional Manager, Lighting. Derek Knight joined EBH in 2007 as Branch Manager in Prince George, BC, and has played many roles on the team, including Sales Representative in Langley and Lighting Specialist based out of head office. As the Divisional Manager, Derek will play a pivotal role in the completion of all strategic initiatives, continue to develop business through customer and project acquisition, and provide product training and technical support. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Horsemen Sodhi

 

• Sumeet Sodhi— Divisional Manager, Data & Communications. Sumeet joined E.B. Horsman in 2012 as a Business Developer working closely with branch managers and sales representatives to grow our presence in the BC market place. Having received his MBA from Royal Roads in 2013, he will be a key contributor to the strategic direction of the division. Sumeet will play a pivotal role in the completion of all strategic initiatives, continue to develop business through customer and project acquisition, and pursue mutually beneficial partnerships with recognized and industry accepted manufacturers.
