EFC’s 2015 Scholarship Program is Accepting Organization Participants

 Now is the time for organizations interested in supporting a college student through Electro-Federation Canada (EFC)’s 2015 scholarship program to get involved. The deadline for signing up is December 15.

This year, 44 organizations in the electrical and consumer electronics sectors provided financial support through the EFC scholarship initiative to assist Canadian university and college students achieve their career objectives. The program encourages Canadian youth to pursue a career in the electrical, electronics, and telecommunications industries. 

“The scholarship program provides students with awareness of the great career opportunities in our industry and supports EFC members’ needs to attract new young talent into their organizations,” says Joris Myny, 2014 EFC Scholarship Chair and Senior VP Industry Sector, Siemens Canada Ltd. “With succession planning a priority, combined with the rapid development of new technologies, it is critical to engage the best and brightest students.”
