Nexans Initiates Copper Mark Recertification for Montreal Site

Nexans Canada Inc. has initiated the Copper Mark recertification process for its site located at 460 Durocher Avenue in Montreal. As part of this process, an independent external assessment of the site was scheduled for April 22–24, 2026.
Copper Mark is an independent assurance framework designed to assess the responsible practices of industrial sites against recognized criteria in the areas of environment, health and safety, governance, human rights, stakeholder relations, and responsible sourcing (33 criteria).
The objective of this process is to assess the site’s compliance with the applicable requirements of the Copper Mark standard, particularly in the following areas:
- environmental protection and sustainable use of resources;
- health and safety;
- human rights and labor rights;
- engagement with communities and stakeholders;
- governance and business integrity;
- responsible sourcing.
