IMARK Canada Hosts 2016 Annual Meeting in Quebec City

Over 135 senior executives from IMARK Canada member distributors and IMARK Canada supplier executives attended the meeting, held September 28-30.

“We are very pleased with the growth of our membership and we were thrilled with the meeting, both the supplier support and member engagement,” Bob Smith, President and CEO of IMARK Group told delegates. “We have a very bright future in Canada.”

The IMARK Canada headquarters team provided an update on the current organization as well as plans for growth in 2017 and beyond. According to Jerry Knight, IMARK Vice President of Supplier Relations, “IMARK Canada members are doing a great job growing their purchases from our IMARK Canada supplier partners.”

The meeting included a mini-trade show where IMARK Canada suppliers featured new and innovative products that can help increase customer satisfaction and fuel sales growth in 2017.

In addition, over 1000 private one-on-one meeting sessions between member and supplier executives were conducted during the meeting.

Oscan Electrical Supplies and Visioneering earn top honours

At a ceremony held during the event, Bob Smith announced the winners of the following awards for superior performance by IMARK Canada members and suppliers:

  • Oscan Electrical Supplies, Oshawa, Ontario earned the 2016 Member of the Year award based on objective criteria related to their active participation and superior purchase growth with IMARK Canada suppliers
  • Visioneering Corporation, based in Toronto, earned the 2016 Supplier of the Year award based on objective criteria related to their active participation and superior sales growth with IMARK Canada members
  • Paul Wolf Lighting and Electric Supply of Toronto, earned the 2016 Purchasing Power award 
  • Kidde Canada, Vaughan, Ontario earned the 2016 award for Superior Sales Growth and Performance
