We recently gathered to celebrate the incredible career and legacy of our esteemed past CEO, Bill Hammond. It was an evening filled with warmth, laughter, and heartfelt reminiscence as we bid farewell to a visionary leader.
As Bill eloquently shared, “I fully realize that is it is time to retire and bring on new management, new and different styles, and new ways of thinking. Consequently, I view this change as the right thing to do for the company, and the right thing for me. This is my last chance to thank you and honour this fine company that we have created together. Please know that all of you have made a profound impact on me and on HPS, and I am eternally grateful.”
The occasion was a testament to the profound impact Bill has had not only on HPS, but in the broader electroindustry. Surrounded by colleagues, friends, and HPS family, several people had the chance to express our gratitude for the extraordinary journey we’ve shared under his leadership.
