E.B. Horsman & Son invites you to join them in welcoming Patrick Mitchell as EB Horsman’s new Vice President of Operations, effective Monday, January 6, 2025.

Patrick Mitchell is a strategic leader with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. He brings a wealth of experience in optimizing supply chain processes, reducing costs, and driving growth across multiple regions, including Canada, the USA, and Europe. Throughout his career, Patrick has successfully led initiatives to streamline operations, improve profitability, and foster strong relationships with key partners. His leadership approach combines a commitment to both operational efficiency and team development, which makes him a perfect fit for EB Horsman as the company continues to evolve and grow.

With a background in Supply Chain Management, Patrick has held leadership roles in several organizations, where he was responsible for managing large-scale operations and developing strategies to optimize cost, risk, and growth. He has also played a key role in negotiating significant sales agreements, improving warehouse efficiency, and enhancing profit margins.

Patrick’s educational background includes an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Transportation and Logistics, and several professional certifications, including Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) and Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL). He also holds a Red Seal Trade Certification in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics, adding to his extensive technical expertise.

Beyond his technical skills, Patrick Mitchell is an outstanding leader who places a high value on communication, professional development, and mentorship. His collaborative leadership style will be instrumental as he works alongside Roy in the coming months to ensure a seamless transition as Roy prepares for his well-deserved retirement in March 2025.
