Mark Mercer Announces Retirement from IDEAL Industries

After 40 years with IDEAL Industries (Canada), Mark Mercer has annouced his retirement. Mark began with IDEAL in June 1979, working in the shipping department and progressed through many roles during his tenure. He began in his current position of Area Sales Manager for the GTA and Eastern Ontario since 2000.

Mark would like to thank his customers and colleagues for their support and freindship over the many years working together.

“It is the people and the relationships that are the core and stregnth of the electrical industry,” he says, “I will miss the many sales calls, trade shows, industry events, counter days, BBQ’s, lunches, dinners, and especially the camaraderie that exists within this industry. Most importantly – thank you for the memories”

Mark is looking forward to spending more time with his wife, his children and especially his grandchildren. His last day in the field will be Friday, June 28th.
