Joris Myny, Chair of Electro-Federation Canada (EFC)’s Scholarship Program, and Senior Vice president of Siemens Canada, has said that the challenge of engaging university and college students is critical in our industry. His challenge to the electrical industry brought on an overwhelming response for this EFC initiative, now in its 20th year, as the industry rallied to commit $120,500 across 52 scholarships. For Kerrwil and electrical manufacturers and distributors, the scholarship program is more than funding students. It is an opportunity to promote our industry in every Canadian university and college and showcase the electrical industry as a viable career choice in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Management, Operations, Information Technology, and Human Resources.
