ABBRecognized for her career as a business leader and innovator, passionate about people, technology and sustainability, Nathalie Pilon was invited to address the graduating class of the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science.

“Concordia University and ABB share a vision for Canada to be a global leader in the rapidly developing renewable energy economy and fourth industrial revolution,” says Pilon. “I am honoured to have received this degree from the University of Concordia, and for the opportunity to have addressed the future leaders of tomorrow.”

In her speech Pilon challenged graduates to make their mark by playing an active role in the transformation of the world: “Don’t merely join the energy and fourth industrial revolutions and don’t be shy…. Your passion, skills and education are coming to fruition at a time when two historic economic and technological revolutions are changing the world, and each of you graduates today is in a position to impact these revolutions and ensure they change the world for the better,” she said. “Rather, grab the bulls by the horns and lead these revolutions. We’re counting on you as global citizens to help us make the world a better place. Let’s write the future together.”
